There is a lot that can be said about a man who is 75 years of age, but when you ask the family and friends of Teeter Hang Ups founder, Roger Teeter, they have even more than “a lot” to share.
What do you do when you have suffered from chronic back and shoulder pain for years, you can no longer enjoy the things you love and prescriptions and injection treatments are not effective? You do what Dan did and you get a Teeter!
Have you ever wondered how your local Health & Fitness retailer finds the products and brands it carries in their stores? Most carry the products you ask them to, but they also find new things to introduce you to through trade shows like the Health+Fitness Expo happening in Las Vegas, NV today and tomorrow.
We had a lot of your local retailers stop by our booth today to see the latest Teeter has to offer, so make sure you stop by their store next week and ask them what is new from Teeter Hang Ups.
Check out our new Store Locator to find your neighborhood Teeter dealers.
Seattle, and the entire Puget Sound region, is a diverse business community often times associated with hot tech companies or an aerospace juggernaut. So when the Puget Sound Business Journal puts out their annual “40 under 40” Awards, do you expect it to have the CEO of a family company which makes a living flipping people upside down?
“In November 2012 I had a bad fall landing with my full weight on a step edge hitting the Lumber part of my spine. I was out photographing Venice by night. It was actually at 0230 in the morning. I was there singing the title tenor role of Tristan in Tristan und Isolde at La Fenice. I still got the photo I was after…. Thankfully it was quite a chilly night and I think this masked the injury a little.
It’s not like we think we are the only company ever that has been in business for over 30 years, but when you look at who else was making inversion tables 30 plus years ago, Teeter is the only one that is still around. Why?
We recently read about the experience of Herb Benham of The Bakersfield Californian after picking up a Teeter in hopes of helping with his stiff neck. We loved how Herb captured the experience of many of our customers seeking for relief, so we wanted to share:
“I have struggled with back pain due to a spinal disorder for over a year, and this table made a world of difference. I would very much like to tell the world. Thank you so much, Roger, I really do appreciate it.”

Just like some apple farmers have their favorite trees to eat off of, our employees choose favorites sometimes as to which table is their personal favorite. Watch below to see one of the most popular choices and how to get it!
Light meals in the summer time are a must, and this recipe is a tasty complete meal all in one. The fruit adds a sweet – tart flavor punch and the pumpkin seeds add a bit of crunch. This recipe comes to us courtesy of the Dinner Concierge. They recommend serving this salad with salmon but we also think it would be good with other proteins! Try substituting the salmon with grilled chicken or shrimp, or even with a veggie burger, for variety. We think you will love this salad recipe – we certainly do!
